It's been quite a while.
A few things have changed.
As you know, we bought our first house. It looked like that reality might not come to fruition, but it did, and here we are. I'm pretty sure home ownership is like falling in love - in the beginning, it's perfect and wonderful, like rose-colored glasses and all that jazz. Then, the house gives you some surprises, and you decide how you want to proceed, etc. Honestly though, I just don't care because I love this house, our home, so much. It is far more than we ever could have dreamed or asked for. It fits us so well, and we keep looking around in shock, waiting for it to just be a dream. But, it's our reality.
Bean can walk! It started (really) about 2-3 weeks ago: some attempts here and there, a handful of steps. He is now up to 10-12 steps at a time, and is becoming more and more confident. It is so neat to see him act more boldly, smiling as he walks to a toy or to one of us.

We moved successfully, with help from family. No more renting, no more heavy lifting. We are here, and here to stay.

X Marks the Spot, and the Spot is "Done"
